Mine got stained when I treated with Protozin which has a dark green/blue dye in it a few months ago. And is still stained. But honestly, I don't think it looks bad, you barely notice unless you're looking for it. So I've just left it.
On a side note (and cautionary tale for others!), when I was treating I was measuring the quantity out on top of the wooden hood (which I had painstakingly stained myself) of the tank. Yes, I spilled it on the wood. Just about crapped myself. Wiping it off with a cloth still left a bright blue stain on the wood - so I raced to the cleaning cupboard, and managed to lift the remaining stain with some cream Jif. All of this took place in the span of about two minutes, if I'd left it longer something tells me I mightn't have been so lucky getting it out. And luckily my wood sealant wasn't lifted by the Jif either.
Note, I am NOT recommending trying to use Jif on your silicone, . I'm just talking about the wooden hood here!
