Ok, I have a wall mounted aquarium, it has a sheet of glass along the top with the lights sat along.

That is all I have, so I have cut some cardboard to go on top to keep the light in. Is there anyway I can make more of the light go into the tank? Buy a propper lid? I was thinking maybe aluminium foil or white paint?

Any ideas?

Thanks

How about a length of house guttering (in white) placed over the light? Leave the ends open for heat to escape.

You could fix the light fitting by drilling small holes into the guttering then using cable ties to hold the light up into the guttering.......

BTW, this post would do better in the DIY section :shifty:

Cut a piece of 3" downpipe to the length and slice it lengthways then line with Mylar and screw in your 2 lighting tube clips.

Guttering (white plastic) is already the right shape and colour ;)
