I want to clear the calurpa out of my display and into a refugium. I plan to use the return from my external filter to flow into a small tank on a shelf ABOVE my display tank. This will then overflow through a tube into the display. I originall wanted to make this small tank into a species box for a seahorse, however now I plan to move all of my calurpa into it.

Can you recomend some fish or inverts that I could keep in the calurpa box, which will add interest to it? Obveously I cant have them eating the calurpa though :p

Thanks.

I wouldn't put anything in there. It will soon fill with lots of pods and stuff which are interesting enough to watch. Some of them will wash into your tank, a real benificial treat for your fish and corals.

Ha, if only you knew how many were in the display already! There is one reasonably sized black one, I see him eating hair algea from the LR, and he seems to be coming out more in the daylight hours too now :)

I think I might have a piece of video where you can see him, let me have a look...
