Hi everyone, I'm thinking of getting some dwarf puffers, and have read that they like caves to hide in, and I happen to have some pretty slate lying around, and would like to make it into two (very basic) caves. So basically my first question is:
Is there any glue that works well (and obviously isn't dangerous) that I could use to glue the slate together?
I'm sure there'll be more questions later on, but that's all I can think of for now.

what about cylicone, glue that might stick slate together :D try it, it might work :)

Hot glue or superglue would be my first choices to try :)

There's aquarium-safe silicon and it should do the job. Hot glue and superglue may contain harmful chemicals... double-check whatever you use first; I wouldn't risk it myself.

Thanks - I'll have a look for some aquarium-safe silicon.

I have built a cave out of slate and aquarium safe silicon, and it works a treat. Don't use anything else.

check the link in my sig its got a picture of my slate cave..

I just cut the slate to size and then used aquarium silicone to join it

it only took 10 mins
