well before i made a thread about my tank and how bad i have been struggleing with the ICH problem, most of ya's suggested i get a hospital tank,so i went out and got a 5 gallon tank and put my 3 loaches and 1 pleco in it.Hoppfully they will recover but its not looking good for them.I am continueing to treat my 55 gallon even though they are no longer in it anymore...just to make sure that the ICH is wiped clean.

Right now though all i wish is that my Snowball would get better.I would love to see my clowns recover as well, but they have gotten to where they dont even move or eat anymore.....at least my Pleco still shows some life....

Still not sure how my tank got infected with it...i have perfect readings and my tank is 6 months old.and i havent introduced any new fish to the tank...I also do weekly water changes and gravel cleanings. And my water is cystal clear at all times.

Finally it bums me out i lost my old acc..i had over 150 posts on it...oh well ..hehe

so sorry so you collect plecos ive got a rare spices called a clay pleco and im getting a royal pleco and another rare spices the sunshine pleco

welp,i lost my battle to ICH.....the only thing i have no control over....my tank is perfect and my fish are healthy, and i still lost expensive fish to this sickness.

Lost my 3 loaches, which were 5 to 6 inches a piece, and now my snowball is on his deathbed.hes covered with ich and not eating.it makes no sense.....

I HATE ICH !!!!

Okay got a question? I was infested with ich before when my tank wasn't cycled and most of the fish that got it is already dead. Would the parasite still be on my tank? i'm a little worried now that i just recently got 2 clown loaches and i heard they get ich pretty easily? BTW it was almost a week since the last infected fish died and I still run my temp pretty high around 78-82 F.

Ich is always in your tank. I don't think that you ever truely get rid of it.

Sharky...what is the temp of the tank?
