Got a little rammy when trying to situate the tank better on the stand with only one person. Lesson learned. Cutting out the side panel now and going to try to find a glass shop that has 12 mm glass locally.
Thinking about cutting out the bottom pane and installing it flush to the bottom of the side glass. Any thoughts? Bad idea or just a waste of time?

Made a lot of work for yourself there!

12mm glass tank and didn't think you needed help? Guess a lesson is now well and truly learned ;)

Leave the suspended floor as is, that is my advice. Not a fan of flush floors myself

Ive decided to leave it as it because I dont need the extra work. Its worked the way it is for a long time so Ill be fine with it the way it is.
I was just trying to move it a little bit on the stand after my friends had already left. We had 3 to lift it onto the stand. I wasnt happy with exactly were it sat and got greedy just before filling it.
Stupid move and like you say its truely a lesson learned
$50 extra on a cheap $200 tank isnt a big deal to me. Im still happy with the total cost.

Thanks for the comments

Leave the floor as is. If you have it flushed, then any little piece of sand under the tank, when the tank is full of water, will pose a threat to breaking the tank.

p.s. I can't seem to find any accurate info on the lift of those cams. I find tons of info, but there is some missing. I will post a reply when I find the right info.

haha sounds good.

I decided to leave the bottom as is. Will be installing the new side panel next week and then filling the tank so I can get my fish in there asap
