i just added 3 mts and they where fine they were moving arround and then they just gathered together and they havnt moved ?

i think they got a shock.... cuz i didnt settle them in the water properly ,

they havnt moved for 1 whole day

what should i do ?

i went really far to get these ... i just dont want them to die

i bout 4 3 in my ten g and 1 in my 2.5 gal.

the one in my 2.5 gall died...

How did you kill them! i wna know lol! the only way i got rid of em is to chuck the biggest ones into a tub of water outside and slowly their metabolism slows down enough where it doesnt feel the need for food but will die because of starvation quite quickly. Although my 30 gallon got infested with them. i would like some more again as i have sand in a tank now and need them to turn over the sand

Have you fed them anything at all yet? Have you used any meds in the tanks recently and have you tested the water for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates and if so, what are the stats? Do you have any filtration in the tanks?

the one in the 2.5 gall was kindof expected cuz it is a cold water tank 22 degrees ... it was a test..


my 10 gall is 27 degrees my tank has a wisper filter

i also boght 2 corys from the same tank and they are alitttle shocked too...

i fed my fish ... and some went on to the floor but the corys got them

ammonia is 0

nitrites 0

nitrates 20

ph 7.6

i did a water change just now

although i think my nitrates are from my filter ....
but im scared to clean it bc it will screw up the cycle .
