Over this last weekend I took a trip to Tampa and upon hearing this I thought the Florida Aquarium! I got to go and get some great pics for everyone on the forum.

The penguins getting ready for there big show.

The fresh water exhibit upon walking in I noticed the ceiling was water and there was a turtle resting on a log.

The freshwater exhibit fish included are Bream,bass, and gar.

A large softshell turtle.

Can anyone Id this fish?

Some of the ducks.

This redfish must have been 40 to 50 lbs.

A GIANT sheepshead.

One of the newer side exhibits.

For all those brackish tank lovers.

The only two saltwater tanks in the aquariumania section.

Then the coral farm.

Then more of the estuary/tampa bay exhibit.
This part shows all of the unique area's of the bay and surrounding waters.
A big black grouper.

This ladyfish was fast! It measured about 2 and a half feet as well.

I loved this trumpet fish.

Spiny lobsters. Yummy!

This tank was unbeleiveable. I came back at least twice.

These seahorses werent camera shy at all.

Again more Jawfish.

These are the largest permit I have ever seen. 30 lbs easy.

This goliath has to been 800 pounds!

These permit were from the sand flats tank.

The grouper tank was too dark to get a good picture of this triple tail but the shilloute shows one BIG fish
!!!!!!!!

The touchy feely tank! 50 degree water sucks! 78 degrees sounds really good right now!

The Indo-Pacific tank.

I absolutely fell in love with this hawk fish!

This clam was a foot long! And there were three in this one tank.

This mysterious grouper ID?

ANd a beautiful tang.

Another mysterious fish I couldnt get a good picture cause of his distance.

It looked like a scene from the little mermaid.

Aaah, what I would give to find an Ogcocephalid some time. Cousins of the frogfish these guys (as you probably noticed by their "walking" on their fins)

More Sea horses.

Deeper in the reef exhibit.

This thing scared the crap out of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing Jellyfish. In the estuarary exhibit there was a tank that had 40-50 cassiopia.

A dogfish.The flash messes up the darkwater demon unbeleiveably.

The only kelp forest exhibit there.

Another trigger.

Some super zoos

Its kinda cool when an aquarium advertises the Zero-Edge tanks.

A smaller reef tank.

The only good picture of a sea turtle. My camera could catch a sign for the aquarium at 70 mph but my camera cant get a picture of a turtle swimming a five.

The bigger bowfront tank. This tank had about 7 fish. The smaller one had at least 15.

This cobia was fast. Very little color but my favorite native florida fish.

A big shoal of all sorts of fish.

This was the pred. tank.50 pound jack crevalles.

Every one know this guy. Hint he costs 900 dollars.

Some beatuiful colors on this tangs fins.
