Lump on side of Neon Rainbow fish

Hi
I have a neon rainbow fish which has a developed a lump on his left side just behind his head, its looks like a little pimple but it is covered with scales, I wondered if it was a tumour and if there is any thing I could treat him with, it doesn't sem to bother him and he's eating well, and swimming normally

One of mine developed a large red ulcer on it's flank. It happened the same time as another developed dropsy like symptoms. Didn't know what it was and never found out. I was told it could be a parasite, dropsy or even fish TB. Both fish died but the one with the lump died, I think, mainly from the fact that I put it in a hospital tank that wasn't properly cycled. I think the ammonia got to him before the lump did. For a short time after I put him in the hospital tank he did seem to be getting better.
