Hi guys does anyone know what this is on my minnow currently got it quarantined just for the sake of the rest of my fish.

All I can see doing is what you decided on - quarantine, possibly for life. I don't know what that is. A cyst? A worm? The fish looks robust and healthy.
 
I've seen that and it IS infectious. I can't say if its a virus or worm..but if you leave that fish in there- other fish will look like that soon. Best to remove and put it down. Or.spend bucks and try something chemical. Maybe Ivermectin!
 
Also- I remember it being something that grew larger after the fish ate. In my case they were young Giant Danios. Both female and after removing they died soon after.
I would guess by the fact they grew rounder after a meal should have told me something but i've never had a fish look like that. Its a modern fish keeping illness thats widespread.
