My two bristlenose have successfully bred (more by luck and nature than any intervention by me). Most of the offspring were eaten by other tank member (two large angels I suspect ate the most!) but two have survived and are now 2cm long.

In a 36in (1m) tank what number of these bristlenose can be kept together. I know I am below the limit total fish wise but worried about the terretorial nature of these fish in particular. I cannot as yet be certain of the sex of the younger ones.

You can have 1 adult male in there with a few females (mature)
if you are keen on breeding them you need to get another tank i used a 18x12x12 tank to put fry in the tank

you need a cave of smithrc on here when they breed in there just before they are ready to leave the cave you intervene and move them to your tank for them this is to stop your tank becoming a fast food place

cheers dane
