LOWERING NITRITE?

How Can I Lower the Nitrite in my Tank. I'm doing a fishless cycle and the Nitrite has been at 4.00+++ for over a week now, the ammonia is about 1.40ppm How can I speed the cycle up because I'm getting totally fed up now. I'm almost three weeks in and I jusu want to get fish now, its costing me a fortune on testing kits too!

Your tank should be fine just let it be, A little tip when testing use half the amount of water and half the amount of testing fluid saving you a few quid.
Be patient and everything will be fine in a little while.
