Fish Herder
Hello looking for some advice and feed back, I am currently looking at getting a new tank and one of the possible options is going with a company called ND aquatics.
They have an option for the front glass to be opti white which is a specially developed float glass which displays none of the slight green tint apparent in most standard 'clear' glasses.
They say it has superior performance when compared with conventional clear float products; this includes higher light transmission and greater solar heat transmittance due to low iron content they say there is an absence of a green tint. Be honest I have never really noticed a green tint in my Juwel bow front tanks but maybe I would notice it if I got this glass.
It would only cost an additional £40 if I were to go with it.
So has anyone got this stuff is it better?
One of my main concerns is does it scratch easier? Of course all glass scratches, do scratches show up more on this stuff?
I would appreciate any feed back
