Can anyone help?
ADVERTISED IN CLASSIFIED SECTION BUT HAD NO RESPONSE SO FAR -please check my advert

I have some lovely large 4-8in goldfish (red, silver, koi, comets, shubunkin) that I rescued from small tanks and bowls over the last couple of years They have grown and need to be rehomed in a pond as they are getting too big for my 4ft tank. Can anyone in London offer them a home in a pond? They are indoor fish and need to go into pond ASAP so they will acclimatise before it gets too cold

They are my pets not just "pond fish" and I want to make sure they are going to a good home where they will be well cared for forever, which is why I prefer them to go to a forum member rather than put them on Ebay. Please email me details of your pond including
• size and depth
• how long it has been established
• make and model of filter if any
• other fish in pond
I am looking for a proper well maintained pond, not a muddy “hole in the ground”

sorry mate, i live in herts which is right above you but i am already full to the brim with fish :)

Hope you get it sorted

Thanks for the bumps guys. There MUST be someone with a decent pond in London. They are great fish with some fine specimens -comets, koi, comet tailed shubunkin

I live in Eastleigh in Hampshire and would be willing to to adopt unwanted goldfish if you're willing to go that far- i have recently finished my new 16,000liter pond ( http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/361746-my-new-pond-diary-may-2011/ ) which has filtration for up to a 45,000 liter pond (so is very well filtered) and is 4ft deep at its deepest end for my current goldfish but there is space in the pond for new arrivals. I also have a 5ft long Rio 400 going up for sale very soon if you're interested in a larger tank  .

Sounds great but I don't have a car so they need to be collected. I am even willing to adopt your RTBS (making it easier to sell the tank) if you adopt my goldfish - they are worth over £50 but I would offer them free to a good home for members of this forum
