ok, i was gonna say, those are pretty good pics for a "crappy" camera.

how big is that b-nose?

He's a little less than 1.5 inches right now

they're so cute when they're that little, i've got about 40 bnose fry with the biggest being about .75 inches. well, one from a previous batch is about 1.5 inches.

i like that female betta that's looks pearl colored with the greenish fins.

Longhorn - Do you know what size bnose's get when they start getting their bristles? I know the females don't usually get them.

i've heard somewhere around 2 inches they start to get bristles. i keep looking everyday to see if my juvie bnose is starting to get any...none yet

I too have bnose fry....one in particular looked female then in a week his bristles grew from nothing to HUGE things....they look too big for his body almost....now he is bigger he has almost grown into them

I love your pics....I need more african cichlids

I can't wait till my bnose gets bigger, it would be better to take pictures of him/her and I'll actually get to see him/her once in awhile

I'm switching gravel in my 20 soon, a friend of mine is giving me a reddish color of gravel. I'm getting sick of the light blue. I'll post pics once I get it in
