its really odd i went to bed lastnight and had 3 albino cory's in my tank and i woke today to count only 2 but with no evidence as to where the third one went!!!! i have a 2 1/2ft tank with a lid, although two of them did die together last week suddenly, i think it was because of swimbladder but not 100%, im hoping my 3rd is hiding somewhere but i have searched the tank high and low, fingers crossed i'll find him

Two fish dying is an alert.

If a third dies it is for sure time to investigate.

Swim bladder symptoms can be from different causes, but two dying at once, aside from rough treatment, can indicate infection, I believe. I am not an expert, though.

Are you testing the water?

I hope the little one is just hiding out.

it did alert me straight away and unfortunatly i found him dead lastnight under a bridge, was really upset but my water is fine i do test my water twice a week and give regular water changes, so im a bit confused to say the least

That's good that the water is in shape. Next is the possibility of infection of some kind. I would direct you to the emergency section. Cories are very suseptable to bacterial infections from their close rummaging of the bottom for food. I can not tell from what you have here what may be the cause of the trouble.

For the thread here we need to know the tank size, inhbitants, species, tank temp. water stats, unusual symptoms or behaviors of the fish. What ever you can give us to help. Do the dead fish have any obvious signs of trouble. We can waste alot of time suggesting things that you have already done.

I would post a duplicate thread in emergency. We know things about Cories they may not know and they know things about desease and medications. There is surely a problem that needs to be diagnosed and corrected.

If you have a quarantine tank, I would move the last Cory.
