Heres the story: I went camping for a three day weekend, and left my fish (1 Paratilapia Polleni, 2 Paratilapia Bleekeri, 1 Tiger Oscar, 2 Clown Loaches, 1 Atabapo Pleco, and 1 Midnight Pleco) to be fed by my brother primarily. My brother fed them plenty and they still have plenty of room (about 1 inch of fish for every 10 gallons). When I came home though, the larger of the two Bleekeri was in real bad shape, he had every scale from his gill down bitten off and all his fins were ripped off and the skeletal stumps were red (bleeding). The only fish that was going for him even when he was dying was the polleni. And the only reason for the death that I could think of is that the bleekeri was maturing and the already mature male polleni got the fight in him. So after this death, the polleni started picking on the other bleekeri more often. I got rid of him and got a finescaled tigerfish and a tetrasephalus (which the clown loaches love to school with). All is well now, but I still miss my bleekeri and polleni.
