I lost two of my fish yesterday, my endler guppy (who was a daddy) and my male molly (who had love of his life). Before yesterday I did two 75% water changes and one 40% or so water change at once to get rid of gdex that was still in the tank and then I have added 1 heaped table spoons per 20L along with @Colin_T 's advice on other posts and dissolved the salts in a bucket and put the salty mixture into the tank.
I have used the salts as my mollies, and occasionally sometimes my other fish (also staying near water surface), are gasping at water surface constantly and I thought the salt would help, which it didn't help at all?
My male molly (whom I lost) was emaciated for some reason, lost some scales on his head (I think so) and had some weird pine coning on his tail, only and only top and bottom the scales were standing up slightly, and now my male guppy (I have had 3 males, lost the endler guppy and I have his son and one other male) has the same thing on his tail, the exact, same weird pine coning on his tail. No scales portruding on sides, just like my male molly I lost.
My male endler guppy had finrot I believe, but he was listless and wasn't active as much.
My female mollies, swordtail and guppies (though mainly mollies) are gasping at the surface, unknow cause and 100% not caused by water parameters (nitrates are below 20ppm, no ammonia or nitrites) . Also, one of my female mollies is skinny too, she is squared off and looks like she's constantly in labour, but only skinnier. She started to look like this after she gave birth to huge coloured fry, seemed like she was postponing the labour and giving birth.
No symptoms on my white clouds, shrimps or my pleco.

What is this? What's causing this? Why salt is not helping?
I'm worried I'll have to start all over again.. and I'm ready to give up.....

What temperature is the tank?
Did you spray any air fresheners or light a candle near the tank?

We need pics next time of deceased. Sorry for your loss.

I did spray an air freshener near the tank, but the tank is covered so I doubt this is the case and this all has been going on for ages since I got my first molly. Do you what is going on?
Tank temperature is 26C for now, but it get usually to 21-23, 24 ish. I don't have a heater there yet.

So you're saying that there will be another death? I don't want anything else dying..
I'll put in another 1 heaped tablespoon per 20L and see if this helps or not, if not I will have to start my tank all over again.

A link to the earlier thread, or the data therefrom, will help give us the background.

I don't think there was another thread on this... I did a thread on my mollies gasping, but none other things I believe.
@essjay will be able to help on this.

You mentioned following Colin's advice to add salt, so I assumed there was an earlier thread. If not, why are you adding salt? Colin's advice was likely relevant to the specific issue and may not have any relevance to your situation.

Never spray air freshener or any other substance in the room with a fish tank. Air is drawn in to the water, along with substances in the air. I am not saying this is the issue, but it may be, or may be part of it.

It seems livebearers are gasping and dying, so what is the GH and pH?

I know that Salty&Onion has been treating the tank with levamilsole (eSHa ndx) and praziquantel (eSGa gdex)
But whether these meds are related to the fish deaths, I don't know.

@Salty&Onion Can you tell us: what size is the tank (volume and length etc) and what fish are in there - which species and how many of each.

pH is above 7.0, GH is 14. Over all hardness is 253ppm and dissolved calcium is 81mg/l from what I remember.

Size of the tank is 125L, 80x35x45cm.
I have 2 mollies, had 3 before which are females only now.
I have swordtails, 3 of them.
6 white clouds.
Shrimp, gabon, amano and cherry.
Bladder snails.
Some molly fry.
5 guppies, of which 2 are juveniles.
1 pleco.
3 platies
I really doubt that the medication is cause of the mystery illness and deaths.
My female guppies are breathing hard, moving their gills/opening and closing their mouths.
What is this thing? Could I get an answer on this that actually could help me?
I have put in another 1 heaped table spoon per 20L today, seems like my mollies stopped gasping at water's surface, but I still saw my female swordtail doing this....
I'm ready to give up.

I just assumed this'll help. Colin's the God here..
But this thing is almost impossible to kill.

OK, just to be clear as I am want to be sure we are understanding each other...if Colin advised salt to deal with your specific issue, in a thread/post where he had your fish/tank data and advised this, fine, do it. But if you read his advice to use salt in another thread not setting out the specific issue you have, that is very different.

I'm not very sure, but when I made a thread about my mollies gasping at surface, I remember that I was advised to use salt which I didn't have on me.
What is thing?
