I lost a Betta yesterday, Boomer, he was a beautiful blue color. I only had him six months and am now concerned about getting another. Boomer lived in a 25 gallon tank with 6 mollies, 2 albino cory's, 2 panda cory's and a clown pleco. They all got along marvelously. The tank water temp was at 28 C, and all tests levels were great. Boomer seemed to be doing fine until yesterday afternoon when I noticed that his bottom fin was stringy and he had lost some color on the lower part of his body. He became very listless and seemed to be swimming with only one fin. I put him in a maternity tank to keep him away from everyone. He passed away late last night and now I am worried about what I have done wrong. Can anyone help?

Lost some colour on the lower body did it go a patchy fluffy white, the finrot could of been a secondary infection.

Ok, do the daily water changes to dilute the tank of nasties.
