I hate doing water changes, but theyre neccessary so i bite my tounge and get through them. I wanted to make them easy, i wouldnt mind doing them if it wasnt such as hassle with pythons and faucets and stuff like that, so would a product like THIS was used every other day, could i take one gallon out of the sump daily for water changes? (55 gallon tank) Besides the inital setup, water changes would be 2 minutes top and nitrates would be low as hell. The only "effort" would be putting on the aquarium gloves and using that gravel cleaner around decor every other day, (yes i know occasionally you must move decor around to vacuum the stuff under it). What do you think?

It would probably work ok, you would still need to do occaional water changes like maybe 50% every 2 months or so. I'm no scientist though, I am just estimating. You would need really good filtration, bio wheels and a cannister. I would also check water specs every couple of weeks just to be sure everything is good like ph, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, etc. Live plants would also help as they naturally remove bad stuff from the water.

why would i have to do water changes 50% every two months? frequent small water changes are much better from my understanding. As for filters i wont need bio wheels or canister because like i previously said, ill have a sump.
