looking for midsize/small pleco

im looking for a semi small pleco to fit in my 46g.

i love some plecos but they get to 14inches!!

i know there are some like zebra and clown plecos.

any other very nice looking ones that keep small?

I would advise you to look at Planet Catfish Cat e log where you can get some ideas, I few suggestions of mine are;

Peckoltia, Ancistrus and Hypancistrus are those that dont grow too big.

I have an L134 and an L052 which are bother small breeds. The L134 gets to 4" and the L052 to 5".

rubber lip only get about four to five inches long.

my lfs will rarely carry a midsize pleco besides bristlenose or rubber lip.

im looking for some of the above mentioned?

how smart is it to order a pleco online?
im thinking its ok, but if the water from where it came from is alot softer than arizona water which is extremely hard, it might be hard for it to adapt and maybe die in the process.

opinions?

Try a king Tiger Plec. See my profile for a pic. They only get to about 4-5 inches.
