Hi guys.

My lfs has just got in a longnose hawkfish and it is the first time ive seen one and I think its great!
I am really tempted to get it but I have read that when theyre fully grown (5 inches) they will eat small fish.
Just how small of fish will they eat though? My current smallest fish is an adult 6 line wrasse of about 3 inches, is there any threat here?
My mum also wants me to get a group of blue damselfish (chysiptera cyanea) which grow to about 2.5 inches. Would a hawkfish make a meal of these guys?

thanks
josh

I wouldn't worry about him with the fish you have, I would worry about any invertebrates you might have :good:

Is there only a chance of them eating really small fish like clown gobies and small slender fish like neon gobies?
I dont have any invrts, fowrl, so there is no worry there. :)

Blue damsels arent exactly bulky, but they are damsels are all, though a more peaceful type. So will it be fine with damsels too?
