Long time tropical fish hobbyist

Welcome to the forum!! Nice to have you here!

welcome! do you have photos of the tank?

Hi, have had a fish tank for 70 years. First time on a forum. looking to exchange info.

What! The same fish tank for 70 years! That must be a world record. How many reseals have you had to do in all that time?

Although of course it could also mean that you've been in the hobby for 70 years, which would be far more plausible, lol.

70 years. Well, you've seen some trends, myths and great ideas. Welcome to the forum. There is a good mix of ages here.

Hi & welcome to TFF... :hi:

And yet, I've only had one tank at a time. Mostly in my living room. So that kind of squashes the idea of quarantining new fish before introducing into my tank. I guess I just take my chances. Not been lucky this time. I'm just worried that I might have to take apart my well established tank in order to get rid of the problem, that would be a disaster, I have other interests to occupy my time, as I'm sure we all do .
Thanks for all the replies.

Well, for your sake I do hope that you won't have to take your tank apart to solve the problem. Fingers crossed...
