Long Hosed But Small Opening Siphon Wanted!

Right, our gravel vac siphon is a bit old, the plastic is perishing and it needs to be replaced, because it's a very tall tank the hose on it needs to be long but because it's planted we need the gravel vac end to be narrow. The one we have now is a python branded one and is perfect for the job but it's knackered.

Tried unsucsesfully to find the same one in any of the lfs's round here, ordered what i thought was the right one on the interweb but the gravel vac end bit is far too big.

Just on the off chance, does anyone have a spare siphon like this hanging around, or if anyone happens to see one in an lfs pleeeeeeeeease pick me one up and I will reimburse you and pay postage

Been after the same thing. think im just going to find a PVC tube that is clear and cut to length...

I use a clear PVC (?) hose that came with a gravel vac - one with the large "penis enlarger" tube on the end.... this is binned, and just the pipe is used, into the end of this is a length of rigid clear tube.... from the LFS, just pushed into the end !
The larger fish stores keep various sizes of this stuff for use in spray bars etc... just take youre flexable pipe (or a thin slice) to make sure the rigid stuff is a good fit.

Penis enlarger! I use a small one (hey! I mean gravel vac) so it wouldn't be any use but I can see what you mean
