I've just seen some long finned corys such as these beautiful ones from The-Wolf at "Tropicals & Marines" in Mortlake (SW14) @ £3.90 each.
I so wish I had the space, but alas I don't :-(

But thought I'd spread the word, as I've never come across these cuties before !

Someone gave me some small long finned peppered corys when I bought some other fish from him. They are interesting and somewhat attractive, I guess. They are almost grown now and I think they are spawning. I've gotten attached to them by now.

It's just sad to know that some corys are being selectively bred to develop characteristics that would make them unable to survive in their natural habitat. :/ I'd strongly suggest buying natural species of corydoras instead.

Oh - are they not "natural" then ? :/ On planet catfish they have an example of one under C. Aneus , but don't say anything about selective breeding. I could also not find much info on the web about them ?
But if they are selectively bred, I guess it's not great :dunno:

I actually came across some of these the other day. They were Albino C. Aeneus long fin. They just didnt look right. They are interesting though.
