The LFS has got a group of long fin albino corys in, and being a bit of a soft touch when it comes to corys...
Only I have neons, are they likely to nip at the long flowy fins of the corys. I know they can be fin nippers, so i guess I'm asking if they are as likely to nip fins of bottom dwellers?

You know there's only one way to find out, and it will give you another excuse for another tank if it goes wrong.

Neons usually don't bother with fish down below being top to mid level dwellers from my experience but they look like they deserve a tank just for them selves

They are pretty little things aren't they?
I think I can probably see a cory tank coming into play in the not so distant future - larger foot print but shallower water

Hi JustKia :)

Long finned corys are interesting, but difficult to keep. Since they are not natural fish, but line bred to get the long fins, they tend to be more prone to being damaged than regular corys. Their long fins also make it harder for them to swim in a tank that has much water movement, much like bettas.

I used to have some long finned C. paleatus and, while they were pretty to look at, they always made me a little sad.
