Hello all you clever fishy people, my first post on here :)

I've recently had a nasty outbreak of Neon Tetra Disease and I've lost five Neon Tetras :( (i annoyingly can't afford a hospital tank)

But I've got one little guy left and I'm not sure what to do.. he seems to be healthy (touch wood..) but I know that they are shoaling fish so I reckon he'll be feeling a bit lonely.. I don't really want to buy any more neons as I think I'm going to move away from them now.

The other fish in the tank are 5 male Guppies and 2 Harlequin Rasboras.

Hope you can help :)

The harlequins are probably pretty lonely too.

Maybe if you ask in the classifieds section someone might take him from you, or you could return it to a shop. It's not really fair to keep it on its own forever so rehoming is probably the best option.

PS :hi:

Have you thought about some cardinal tetras? They are more hardy than neons and look very similar but the colours are more striking. I had some old neons which shoaled quite happily alongside the cardinals. :good:
