why are you getting rid of your plecos?? :-(

"Sharks" i.e. Red Tailed, Red Finned/Rainbow etc., are territorial and dislike their own kind in all but the largest tanks. They are also not the brightest stars in the sky, in that their aggression can be equally focused on anything that looks like another shark, sometimes, even remotely!

Most loaches are sociable and like to be in groups. You may have trouble with your shark and loaches because many kind of look like sharks.

I'd try it out. Clowns will be alright if they are small for now. They don't grow very quickly so you don't have to worry about a tank upgrade for a while.

Go for three clown loaches!! If he tries to chase them they will just try and play with him!!

Im going to get rid of my plecos for a cupple reasons one being that they are incredibly clumsy and i cant keep any plant rooted for long, secondly because their gettin big (not to big of a concern) and finally because my dad is going to get a pond so he needs to get a large tank to keep his koi in during the winter and he needs some good cleaning fish and my plecos are the best algae eaters ever.

OH and also im not to worried about my sharky chasing them because he'll usually stop messing with the new guy after a week or so and when he does chase them its not to intense so im not worried about them getting hurt.
