Loach on hunger strike?

I recently got 3 striata loaches (just over two weeks ago), 2 are getting on fine but one has been getting thinner and thinner. I was sure that he wasn’t getting enough food so I caught him and placed him in a net breeding trap and gave him catfish pellets. Initially he perked up but now he’s looking worse again and I don’t think he’s eating – I’ve tried cucumber, catfish pellets, frozen food, flake – do loaches ever go on hunger stike? He seems to have developed some sores on his body now too. Anything more I can do to help him?? He looks thin, very pale and spends most of his time lying on his side looking half dead now.

Try some snails they love snails. i dun have a clue why he is on hunger strike, maybe some internal parasites.
