Long, thin body of about 40-50mm. Very dark in colour. Group of 3 fins all along back. Has a sucker as well as mouth. Short barbels. Stays mainly on the bottom but will climb. Swims in short bursts then immediately settles. Burrows in sand under rocks at night.

They are Gobies right?

Here's some photos of a couple of them

I can't think of any loach that has three dorsal fins...are you sure it is a loach?

have a look at some darters they may be what your looking for as they have a double dorsal at least.

Photos now in OP. Thanks for looking :good:

WoW now thats what i call a nice goby!!!!!!!

It defo look's like a Stiphodon
may be Stiphodon atropurpureu but their are 30 species to look at.

Hey thanks guys :good: Yes I agree it's a Stiphodon atropurpureus for sure. Looks like I have a male and two females. Picked them up from a fellow member of these forums who has moved to marine.

They are absalutely great fish and I would thoroughly recommend them to spark up the substrate :good:
