Liver Catfish Tips Required

Got myself a single liver catfish 2 days ago. Seems ok at the moment. A bit of chasing by the male sajica, but no biting as far as I can see. The barbs and rainbowfishes are not bothered by it either, as does the corys.

I know they don't like bright light, and only comes out when there is food. I am thinking about getting some floating plants to darken half the tank. Any tips anyone else can offer me with this fish?

I was told it gets up to 12". Really depends on what you read I guess. Also a good excuse to upgrade the tank... my wife has always wanted arrowana!
