Livebearers and Ich?

is it common to not see any spots with livebearers when they get ich? and do they have their fins all clamped? i ask this because i think my black molly has it. i thought it was internal but then i saw her bouncing off things and today she was missing a scale from rubbing? help

In my experience, if its ich, you'll know about it!

Ich cannot tolerate salt at all, so that might be why its less common with livebearers. The symptoms you describe sound more like some kind of external parasite.
