I'm considering getting one or two of the rarer livebearers as a breeding project. Currently looking at Tiger Limia, Ilyodon furcidens (goldbreast splitfin), and zoogoneticus tequila (tequila splitfin). I'm thinking the goldbreast splitfin might be too big for what I want, but wanting to see if anyone else has experience keeping these fish. Are there other livebearers I should be considering? I like the leftsided livebearers (Jenynsia onca) as well.

Thanks for any insight!

I have kept and bread all the fishes mentioned the most easiest fish to keep are Ilyodon 's the hardest to keep leftsided livebearers a good choice zoogoneticus tequila they should not be kept in anything less than 10 gallons and as with most goodeids Ilyodon furcidens should be kept in larger tanks there are many livebearers to choose from

Which ones were your favorite? Thanks!!

for me I don't have a favourite I have kept and bred almost every species of goodeid and many other rare types
I have probably kept and bred more livebearers than most on this forum
