I've been surfing the net looking for live rock, and one company in particular caught my eye. Tampa Bay Saltwater ships their live rock in water, not wet paper towels, keeping the rock really alive. Has anyone dealt with them? They also sell total packages (sand, rock, snails, etc).

Since they ship the rock in water, it's a little more expensive than wet paper towels, but from what their site says, the die-off is minimal, and it's pretty much ready to go.

Please advise - thanks -

If you are prepared to pay the excess and have seen pictures and testemonials from people who have used the rock then I would go for it. Personally I always pack Live-Rock either in entirely water or partially in water tied tightly bagged in a polythene bag, as they say it guarentees very quick stocking if the Live-Rock is good enough.

Overall, I heard that people are happy with them if you don't mind the huge shipping costs. They 'farm' live rock out of Florida waters. SH
