i just rang up ripples waterlife in telford and they said the live rock is £13 per kilo is this a good price considering id need 5kg (i really need 7 but ill buy 2kg of base rock) oh and i no you shouldnt skimp but it is the only way i can ever start this hobby without having to sell organs. (remember my mum and dad are paying so they arent gonna be happy with paying £97 for 7 kg of some rock)

About right some places locally are selling it for £12 per kg but most are £10 per kg.

a bit pricey that i had some from ripples bridgemere sure it was lessthan that not sure though had most of my rock from my lfs at £9.99 a kilo :D

meh ill buy it at my LFS because well there i can choose the pieces, my dad doesnt have to use his credit card (only for emergency stuff) and i wont end up with a box of ####ty pieces with die off so substantal its pretty much base

HAhahahha i am paying about £4 maybe £5 a kilo with shipping hahhahahhaha

Yay cheap american online prices!

grrrrrr you yanks :D nah kidding. this hobby is much harder in england (more expensive, less equiptment)
