Live Rock For Sale

just to note i wasnt sure if this is the right place but seeing as its LIVE rock i thought this section must be suitable.



i have got 20kg of Live rock available as i have got all that i need in my tank. the live rock would need curing as its been out of a tank since Thursday. it currently has Byopsis algae on it which will need to be pulled out if you dont like it.

i am asking for £5 per KG or £80 for the lot.

P.S Item will need to be collection only due to the weight.

Hi

Just a bit of friendly advice. Live rock must be in salt water with good circulation to stay alive. Once removed from the water the bacteria in the rock that makes it live dies. I'm sorry to say but if its been out of the water for that length of time, it will be virtually all dead. If you can get into back into a tank you might be able to save it from becoming dead rock.

good point.. ive currently got the live rock in seperate containers other then the tank.. its in salted water but without the powerheads.

thats better than nothing, but its the high circulation that keeps the rock alive.

yeh unfortunately cant really do much with it. havent got the space.. or equipment. hopefully the rock bes ok for a short while..
