Live Rock First Or Sand?

As topic, the sand will be here next week, and i wont be getting the live rock etc for another month or so.

Is it advisable to wash the sand and put it in once i have got it;- then after a month or so, fill it up with salted RO and buy rock the following day(s)?

Also how do i wash the sand? Just with normal tap water?

Wash the sand in RO, To be honest, I didn't wash mine, it went cloudy for about 2 hours then settled.

Put the rock in first then the sand, as the sand will act as ballast stabilizing the rock.

I didn't wash mine either - as Truck said. rock in first then sand around the rock you dont want rock toppling over when the sand shifts because some little creature has burrowed underneath

Thats the same stuff I used, and it only through up a small amount of silt which settled within 2 hours.
