Live Rock, Can It Die Forever ?

i had live rock in a cube, it was cured, i had a bristle star that lost it legs and quarintined it, and it died 3 days later,and i actually forgot about the little cube becasue of maintaining my 2 metre tank is helluva job, now i want to start the cube again..

the bristle star rotted a bit and the tank smelled bad,i cleaned it like new and the live rock stank as well but that u putted aside in a room and after about 3 weeks now it has no smell at all, i washed it in normal tap water, can i still use it for the cube ? just gona take a while to seed again ?

Sure can still use it. May have killed some stuff when you washed it with tapwater, so it'll prolly take a while to seed

should i put it into my nano wich has 2 corals in it ? or in my fully settup reef tank thats running 100 % ? rather take the nano down than 1000 litre of reef ?
