Live Plants

Can someone give me a good link on plants in your aquarium. I don't know anything about putting a real plant in there, if there's any special care, etc. Thanks

Hey there! i don't specialize in live aquarium plants(i only have about 3 different kinds of live plants:mondo grass, java moss, and another i dont remember) but i found a good link on plant care:

As for specific plant types, that can depend on your fish. There's some fish that will nibble on certain plants for food, some fish will lay eggs on broad leaf plants, etc. for example, I bought my java moss to protect my fry in my community tank.

I would suggest in investing in a nice fish book that has everything in it. This will help you understand a lot of things that are going on in the aquarium and will increase your background knowledge.
