ever heard of crayfish
Yes, but a crayfish isn't a lobster. A lobster's a whacking great huge thing with claws, particularly nice served with tartare sauce, usually captured in a pot thing out to sea. A crayfish is a FW crustacean.

Do crayfish do ok with plants? Do they act as a bottom feeders eating stuff? I saw them at the lfs and i liked them and they were cheap too.

Plants and crayfish don't do well together. Crayfish like to shred plants in the attempt at freedom.

I seen some of them tiny lobsters, they are neon blue lobsters... Pj Pet Center (national store?) here in my area carries them. Not a thing in the tank when I seen them, but then again what store sets up tanks for fish they are selling.
