Just finished the garden pond (well 2 months ago). First one so a newbie question.

My lfs sells live brine shrimp and blood worm now and again and i was wondering if it is ok to feed these to the fish in the pond.
The reason i ask is, will either of these 'colonise' in the pond and if they did would it cause a problem in any way? If they got sucked into the pump (and survived) could they 'colonise' the filter media etc? ????

Sorry if this sounds a dumb question to some of you but i really have no experience with live foods. :stupid:

I look forward to the help i know i will receive from this forum.
