Little White Worms?

I have just done a water change on my tank and when I turned the filter back on I think it blew out lots of little white worms? they are about 5-10mm in length and very thin. Does anyone know what these could be? I have just seen my harlequin eat one so I am a little worried

Sounds like Planaria, its nothing to worry about as most aquariums have them, they usually live in the substrate and not seen.

just googled planaria, looks like thats what they were nothing to worry about then?

Planaria worms or nematodes neither of them are any thing to worry about i used to stir them up so the fish would feed on the but the fish love them

thats a relief, at first i thought it could be a parasite of some sort
