Little White Hitchhiker ? Snails ?

So I found quite a lot of these little white things in my tank ? assuming they are snails ? What are they exactly and how can i get rid of them ? thanks

They dont really look like snails... :/
 
Freshwater limpets
what do they do? Ive kinda seen em in my tank before but I havent gotten concerned... I dont see them a lot but they come out sometimes... And do they get in the tanks the same way snails do?

The do what snails do, they are a form of snail, actually...great algae eaters...harmless, but some find them annoying, like pest snails can be...hitch hikers, like pest snails

yeah, freshwater limpets. I’ve got loads of them. they are pretty harmless although I suspect they may be making little holes in my h polysperma leaves. my other plants are unaffected. They can get very numerous though unless controlled. I’m trying to get rid of them with genchem no planaria which I had read was very effective against snails, but so far they don’t seem affected by it at all.
 
I have these in my shrimp tank. They are tiny, less than 1 mm, unlike marine limpets. They are not as easy to remove as snails - those can be poked off with the siphon tube and sucked out, while the limpets just slide along the glass.
