feed each head one or two little new era pellets every other day or so and watch them grow like weeds!

turned a single headed acan into 30 odd this way in 6 months, just incase you lot didnt already know about this

:good:

Are these hard pellets? What sort of main ingredient(s)? Just wondering if I either have something similar on the shelf or can find it locally.

How do you feed them?? Feeder tentacles at night?

I don't know about acans, but my two duncan heads will eat whatever gets put by the mouths any time of day as long as it's not too big (in which case they give it a munch and spit it out straight away).

its these i use. they are hard pellets. both duncans and acans will eat them at all times of the day. i use a large pipette and fill a cup full of tank water and pellets, suck the whole lot up and drop a pellet into each head.

duncans will eatanything meaty with no problem. i used to dice prawn for mine but they deffinatly grow quicker on these

I use aqualabs myself but that's just due to the filter feeding bits in them. New era is some of the best though.

Strangely my fish wont eat new era food! They are Tetra fans ( and i hate tetra!! ) lol

But funny enough i have some new era sticks like that! Will feed them all soon!!

Started the feeding today Ben! Will let you know how it goes!

Looks like it's a brand that doesn't really exist much on the other side of the pond. Does it have ingredients on the back? Couldn't find anything to that effect on the web. I'm not bothered about the whole list, I'm mainly just wondering if it's fish meal or krill-based (or neither).

Hmm it doesn't say donya buri would imagine that there is a few kinds of pellet on the Market over your side.
