Little shrimpy things?????

I used to "check" on my tank at night, but I haven't done that for a while. I just checked my tank last night out of boredom and saw all of these shrimp-like creatures ALL OVER the live sand and ducking in and out of the LR! What are they? They are very tiny... only a cm or two long... white with grey stripes. Any ideas?

highly likely to be Amphipods or copopods.
Harmless and good for the tank.
