Hey guys what would be best to cover up this Vent. Something that wont look ugly and something that wont block or stop the filter working. And to stop cherry shrimp baby getting through

try some womens nylon stocking, or knee highs if you can get it around the filter, thats what i use in my fry tank.

I find nylons just that bit too fine; the netting that you get on those kid's fishing nets they sell at the seaside, the ones with the long bamboo handle, is the best stuff; it still allows a good flow of water through and doesn't get clogged quite as quickly.

Forgot to say, you can buy it in most fabric suppliers, it's called 'tulle' and it does come in different 'grades', coarse and fine.

superglue. Make sure it's only ingredient is cyanoacrylate as that is safe for fish. It will state it on the tube.

you probably wouldnt need to if there is a decent flow of water through the vent it will just suck the netting onto it.

Tried it already theres 2 vents. It stas there but not flat comes up in corneres and stuff.

Could you cut some kind of 'frame' of the right size out of something like a food container to attach your mesh to?

Possibly but it's about getting it to stay down. I got some containers I could use
