So I have been setting up a new tank to move my current tank into a bigger set up, just been checking the stats (all good by the way) and everything new that has been put in the tank has been cleaned/soaked etc, and when I finished doing the testing I noticed something swimming in the tank. A live bloodworm (well that's what I think it is - too small to get a decent picture).

I've looked more closely and there is a few of them in, should I be worried by them and should I remove them before putting the fish in their new tank??

Any help is appreciated.

Many thanks.

Well if you can confirm they are blood worms, then simply put a fish in that will eat them.

there's a few more popped up and I think that is what they are, still have no idea where the could have come from.

Thanks for your reply.

What do you have in your tank at the minute, filter, gravel, plants wise??
