:( I have looked everywhere for the little caves that everyone seems to be using for their bettas and haven't had any luck. Everything is either too large, too ornate or just not there. Any suggestions? Anything on line?
Thanks

use a PVC pipe, My bettas love it and always sleeps in it. It's not that "ornate" but it serves it's purpose.

i use little terra cotta pots that i found the craft store (michaels)

blue has a votive candle holder shaped like a pot, but made of blue glass!

I agree with KageBunshin. PVC shape pipes (T shape like the one i have in my avatar or any other shape) are perfect for not only large aquariums but also for small betta jars. Just this morning I found my male betta inside pvc pipe that was put in this shape l- but with a a forward view. Anyways, pvc pipe are space savers. Check out this post

I have to add a vote for the terra cotta pots as a really easy way to create a cave. The pots I bought at Canadian Tire were about $1.25 each and I simply dug the lower half into the gravel. The bettas seem to like it alot more than they ever liked plants.

Just me $0.02 worth.

I got mine at PETCO. But it's just for the itty bitty 2.5g tank I have.
