Little bubbles

I have two external filters 2028 & XP3. Occasional I see very small bubbles in the water flow leaving the outlet.

Will this harm my fish? I think the root course is probably an air pocket in the filter system. Any tips on removing them?

I'd say the bubbles are a good thing. I don't know how you'd get rid of air pockets.

If you have air in your external filter then the only obvious way is to turn tilt and lean your external filter (hoses permitting) and the air will works its way out then.

Its the only way I have of getting air out my water cooled PC

if air gets into the filter, power fails and water gets out of filter..

My dad had a big filter in one of his tanks and it used to get little bubbles out of the outlet, when you change the water setting to "backwash" water would sprayed all over the room, it was a small tear in the inlet tube.
