im going on vaction and i bought some liqifry so it would be easy for the lady staying at our house to feed them and i put some in today and it just clumped and went to the bottom is it supposed to do that
and is 4-5 weeks too old for liqifry

Way too old. I would never recommend it for betta fry anyway. Live food, live food, live food.

way way too old. The should be on bbs by 10 days at the absolute latest (or comprable).

I agree I wouldn't use that at all at any age. :/

If you dont have enough time to start a culture, see if your lfs sells frozen brine shrimp.
I dunno how big they would be... If you can't get anything in time you might be able to crunch up some flake food into fine pieces in a bag and use that. It's not the best but if you can't get anything else.....

all i have is pellets could i crunch them up real small and yes i know i dont want to use any of this yet i still want them on live food witch is what ive been feeding them for the last 4 weeks

Ahah, I was under the impression that you had been feeding them liquifry. Good work on the live food!

At nearly a month, they might take frozen BBS. I'd try to get your hands on some of that. It's pretty easy to use, too - just drop a cube in a cup of tank water, let it sit and melt for a minute or two, then pour it in.

Good luck.

i dont know if this would work but it might ill see what you guys have to say
could i just take some bs and put them in an ice cube tray freeze them and let the ice cube melt while in a funnel or somfin over the tank
because that would be soooooooo easy for the "fish sitter ;) " to do

cant wait to hear

It would be better to get her to scoop out some tank water in a cup, put the cube in the cup of tank water and let it thaw.... shouldn't take too long if the tank water is at 80 F., then pour the water back into the tank. :D
